HOSA Future Health Professional formerly known as Health Occupation Students of America is an international career and technical student organization endorsed by the U.S. Department of Education and the Health Science Technology Education Division of ACTE.

HOSA week is November 7-13, 2021
DHS HOSA helps students hone their hands-on healthcare skill through HOSA competitive events. Events are initially held at the regional level. Students who qualify at regional competition go on to compete at the state or national level events.
Qualifications: To become a member of the division a students must meet two criteria:
1. Students must be in the appropriate level of schooling (grades 9-12)
2. Students must either be in a healthcare science program or plan to pursue a career in healthcare. This is KEYNOTE, as interested students may not be enrolled in a CTE Health Science Program but can still join HOSA.
